Our History
My First Keys was launched in 2025 with a bold mission: to give homeless and underserved youth the opportunity to earn their driver’s licenses, gain independence, and build a brighter future. What started as a vision to break cycles of poverty and disconnection quickly grew into a movement of empowerment through mobility. Founded by a team passionate about youth success and second chances, My First Keys was built on the belief that a simple set of car keys can open doors to jobs, education, and freedom. From day one, our goal has been clear—change lives, one key at a time.
Our Mission
My First Keys is dedicated to helping homeless ,foster kids and any family that just needs a little help by guiding them on the journey to car ownership—one milestone at a time. We provide teens ages 13 and up with comprehensive driver education, one-on-one behind-the-wheel training, and support in obtaining their learner’s permits and driver’s licenses. Our ultimate goal is to equip every young person we serve with not only the skills and confidence to drive, but the keys to their very first car.
